This Privacy Policy is for the iA Presenter software product family (“iA Presenter”), focused text editors by Information Architects, Inc. To make informed decisions on what to improve, we collect some usage data for iA Presenter, as detailed below.

What information does iA Presenter obtain?

1. Crash reports

   Crash reports are collected via Apple’s system crash reporting tools. These reports help us identify and fix bugs more efficiently. They include technical details such as the type of crash, device model, system version, and the app’s version and build number. The data is anonymous and does not contain any personal information.

2. Anonymous statistics

   We collect the following statistical data: timestamp, device model, system version, device language, app version, build number, feature usage, and an anonymous installation identifier.

How is the information used?

This data is collected for the sole purpose of helping us improve iA Presenter. It is used internally to diagnose problems, understand usage trends, and make product decisions. No personally identifiable information is collected.

Do third parties have access to this information?

Crash reports are collected through Apple’s infrastructure. Anonymous statistics are not shared with any third parties outside Information Architects, except in aggregate form.

Third-party Services

iA Presenter integrates third-party services to enhance your experience. These services may collect limited information, such as your device’s IP address or interaction data, when content is loaded from their servers.

• Unsplash

  We use the Unsplash API to let you browse and insert royalty-free images directly within the app. Image requests are sent to Unsplash servers and are subject to the Unsplash Privacy Policy.

• YouTube Embeds

  iA Presenter allows embedding YouTube videos in documents. When a video is loaded, it may connect to YouTube or Google servers, which can collect usage data and apply cookies as per the Google Privacy Policy.

These services operate independently and under their own privacy terms. We do not share any personal data with them.

Your Consent

By using iA Presenter, you consent to our processing of the collected data. “Processing” means using, storing, deleting, combining, or disclosing data, as described in this Privacy Policy. All data processing occurs in Switzerland. If you reside outside Switzerland, your data will be transferred and stored under Swiss privacy standards.
